He brings over 15 years of experience in venture capital and private equity, including a prior role as Investment Director at a tier-1 European VC firm where he led over 20 investments across technology and financial services.

At Virellion, Alexander oversees the firm's investment strategy, LP relationships, and portfolio company governance. He sits on the boards of several portfolio companies and actively supports founders through growth inflection points.

Sofia leads Virellion Capital's healthcare and life sciences vertical. Her background spans biotech investment banking at a global advisory firm and operational roles scaling digital health companies from Series A through exit. She has advised on transactions totalling over $800M in enterprise value.

Sofia evaluates all healthcare, medtech, and biotech investment opportunities and manages the firm's relationships with co-investors and strategic partners in the healthcare ecosystem. She holds an advanced degree in Molecular Biology and an MBA from a European business school.

At Virellion, James leads coverage of the firm's industrial, energy, logistics, and agriculture verticals. His operational background allows him to evaluate technical product claims and manufacturing economics with a depth that purely financial investors cannot match.
